• Promoting multi-sensory learning that is proven to be more effective
• Introducing rural students to modern technology and its possibilities

Dialog’s Contribution:
Dialog Telekom will provide 900 Televisions & 100 projectors with 1000 Dialog TV units free to selected schools. A Broadband data connection between NIE & the DTV studio and Salaries of 4 staff members for the initiative will be funded by the company as well. The Learning Management System (LMS) available on this site is created by the Dialog – University of Moratuwa Mobile Communications Research Laboratory.

Ministry of Education’s Contribution:
The Ministry of Education will appoint representatives from NIE for the Review Committee/ Advisory Board to approve content and maintain systems to gather feedback & carry out necessary evaluations of the progress of the Nenasa programme. The co-ordination with teachers or other parties in respect of content production and development will also be done through the ministry.

National Institute of Education’s Contribution:
The NIE will operate and maintain the Content Development Studio including management of the content to be used in the Nenasa programme. The deployment of adequate staff for the operation and management of the project also falls under NIE purview.
